My GoogleFu is weak....Anyone know the book time for a 2007 V6 alternator replacement

Either I suck at using google now, or they suck at being a search engine.

I'm trying to find the typical shop time (how many hours) to replace an alternator in a 2007 4runner with a V6. Does anyone know? Thank you.

I cannot comment on "official" book time, but I can offer the following.

When I did it myself, I think it would have been 1-2 hours maximum if I didn't make a huge mistake. The alternator itself is held on with two bolts. The lower bolt is notorious for being a pain and the head getting stripped. I found this out the hard way because I stripped the head and then Googled it. Be sure to be precise particularly on that one.

should be able to call any shop & have them tell you the labor time for that basic repair.
