Do i need to change brakes for 17 wheels?

I was checking a oem parts seller because i need to change the discs, and it said only 16 wheels, no 17. I had no idea about this and i was planning to get 17 wheels. Do i need to change the brake rotors if I want to up my wheels?

No, you’re fine. I have the smaller rotors on my Limited and 17” rims were standard.

My '03 V8 Ltd also had the smaller rotors with the stock 17" wheels. I was originally under the impression that all V8 Ltd had the larger brakes, but apparently not. I upgraded to them however at first brake job.

I was able to buy/use a set of 16” wheels because I have the smaller brakes.
