Well I finished installing the new bearing assembly on the passenger side. It was a pretty easy job considering everything else that I have done to the truck.

However I am feeling like an amateur after the installing. I went to check for play at the 12 and 6 o'clock position and it is still there. So apparently there is something else loose. My guess is that it has to be the upper or lower ball joint. This also makes me think that I replaced the wrong bearings.

I also noticed that I would hear a tiny bit of noise when I would try to turn the truck to the left while driving which had me convinced that I needed a bearing.

After reading an older thread here someone commented that hearing a noise when turning left implies the driver's side as opposed to the passenger side that I just replaced.

**UPDATE**
False alarm. Turns out my lugnuts were a bit loose when I was checking the play. All is well.

Thats funny as sheet. Glad all is well.

BTW its not a bad idea to replace the LBJs. I used proforged, made in usa with million mile warranty. $25 each

I have been thinking about replacing those too. Most likely do those later this year.

Btw, I noticed my stabilizer link is looking tired and needs to be replaced. I suspect these don’t need to be replaced with Toyota parts. Just need to do some research I suppose. Feel free to make some recommendations.
