Unhappy Wheel Bearing- ABS Compatibility Issues

Has anyone heard of wheel bearings, specifically from Koyo, not being able to recognize ABS in 2003 and newer 4R's?
I just bought a pair of Koyo bearing from an eBay seller, and he said they weren't ABS sensing and checked if I still wanted them. I started researching the issue and it only seemed to apply to the 3rd gen. I figure the ABS system changed after that, and my gut is telling me not to worry about it and just get them, but I wanted to check with you guys first.

What do you think/ know about this?

Thanks!

I replaced both of mine with Koyo bearings from Ebay. They came pre-assembled so you dont have to deal with the studs behind the bearing. No issues with ABS sensors.

Here is the link to mine.

Those look just like what I’d ordered…hmm. The seller thinks there might be something defective about the lot he got wholesale.

What he might be referring to is the tone ring. His bearings may not have the integrated tone ring which would make your ABS sensor malfunction. He is. Warning you and trust me, you dont want do this job twice.

Run away
