I received my 03-05 grill today and had a question about the hardware. It came with 4 gold bolts. Is that correct? I noticed some of the pictures showed 8 of the bolts, and there is 8 slots on the grill. I have a feeling my stock ones are gonna be a ***** to get off if I need to reuse something, haha!

do you happen to have the part# for the seal?

I clear coated it because of both, worried about damage and I feel it looks alot better and darker black with clear coat on it. I put 3 coats on mine..

FYI, the Logo is sent from some California Facility and the grill is sent from China, in theory you should get the logo first from an address in the US via USPS and the Grill Later as it arrives from China.

I never received mine as for some reason the logo was returned to sender, the vendor has sent me a new set.

I ordered mine soon after this thread started, received the emblem a while ago, and just now received the rest of the grill. Incase anybody was wondering about theirs.

Question for you grille gurus. I am swapping my 04' grille for a 06 version of this Toyota grille. I have a Demello OffRoad 06 bumper and 06' headlights. Went to try and switch it today but the metal bar on the bottom of the 04' grille that acts as support and as a spot for the hood latch to bolt onto, is a lot smaller than the 06 version. Does anybody have a part number for this? cannot seem to find it in diagrams.

Before:

Annnnd After:

Can't decide if I need the gasket or not. Don't think its needed functionally, and this rig is rough enough I'm not sure its worth it aesthetically.

Some notes:
1) This is completely unmodified. I'm tempted to paint it to match the bumper, but not sure it matters.
2) I could not get the old nuts to fit on the middle thread sets on each side. Just couldn't get it to work. I grabbed a normal bolt and washer out of my bin of assorted stuff, and that worked great.
3) I need to figure out a way to attach a v8 logo to this. I've got my old one set aside, just not sure how to modify it yet.
