My new larger fuel tank 130-135 lts. (was 76 lts OEM) Stainless steel. 40kgs weight. Made locally for 4th gen 4R. No mods requiere. Same pump, hoses. no removal of spare tire. Cannot use original tank metal protection. 2h install. 1500$US. 24h since install sofar no issues. Very useful in a communist country (Venezuela) where you cannot find fuel outside the capital city.

A couple of questions....you mentioned "130-135 lbs" and "40kgs", which is the actual weight of the new tank?

Also you didn't mention how much gas the new tank holds?

I think that's a reference to capacity.

76 liters = ~20 gallons
135 liters = ~35 gallons

Thanks, that makes more sense, my old eyes saw "lbs" and now I see it's "lts", which isn't the abbreviation for litre, which should just be "L", so between that and my old eyes it threw me off what he was saying.

Sorry wrong abbreviation. Yes is liters.and yes the weight of the empty tanks is 40 kgs. Just today did a couple of hours highway trip and no issues.

I bought it locally (Caracas, Venezuela) at an off road store.
Can ask if they would ship. Don't know if it would be complaint with your local regulations for a fuel tank. Here those regulations are non existent. Everybody wants a larger fuel tank cause you can't find fuel everywhere.

Isn’t the fuel filter located in the OEM tank? Of course an external ff could be rigged and might be better since it can be changed.

Same fuel pump and filter go in the new tank (hole with the yellow arrow). No external fuel filter.

This is cool. Do you have a side picture of how low that tank hangs? Is the bottom of the tank thick to protect it off-road?

If shipping is not possible from Venezuela, there’s a company in the US that sells a 24 gallon auxiliary tank (+24 additional gallons = 47 gallons!) that they get from Australia. Shipping takes a minimum of 90 days, and the tanks cost $2,345 (4th gen) with free shipping to a FedEx freight terminal.

Will get side pic next day. Hangs 1 o 2 inch lower than OEM. Don't know how thick is SS bottom, feels solid, will ask seller. Lower front is slanted.

Talked to the guys a the store, They are not interested in getting involve in international shipping. Sorry.
Venezuela is not what it use to be. Now is another disastrous communist Cuba like failed state..
If you are really interested can ask the door to door shipping company (USA to Venezuela) I frequently use if they do Venezuela to USA.
