Power surging issue with A/C on

Been noticing a weird power drop issue with the A/C on in my 05 V8 218k.

With the A/C on, on a flat level ground and the throttle pedal held steady, i can feel a 3-4 second sudden decrease in power. The vehicle decels slightly, and then the power returns and speeds back up to normal. Then it drops off again about 15 seconds later. This is infinitely repeatable on a flat road. 89 octane.

Anyone else experienced this, or ideas on the cause? I have used OBD2 reader to read sensors, and you can see that the TPS is reading a decrease when i feel the power loss. So it could be the pedal itself, the throttle body, or the TPS. Only CEL is P0420.

My 3rd gen would blow a Gauge fuse when i turned my AC on. Ended up being the AC Compressor went bad. However, Code P0420 is for your Catalytic Converter, so unless you got a new muffler or removed your cat, that could be a solution..
