Sad News!
My T4R just got broken in last night. They took my Amp, Subs Box and tried to take the Radio but just left my center console open.
Luckily, they did not break any of the plastic in the front, they were really professionals. Just cut the wires and got stuff. I just spent $40 this morning to buy that little glass on the back door right next to the window through which they broke in.
Well, lesson learned. I put stereo system in my Civic and was always worried about this to happen, but this time it did happen. No more Subwoofers as long as I don't have my own garage. I never ever played my music loud in and about the complex, but still somehow they figured it out.

That f'ing blows, man, sorry.
if crooks want your stuff, they're gonna get it. All we can do is try to limit how much of it they can take. When i was shopping around for apartment complexes to move into, it wasn't enough that the area and complex itself looked nice and safe -- i made it a priority to have my own garage, as well...

It always sucks when someone breaks into your vehicle, but look at the bright side-- They broke the smallest, least expensive window, and they didn't destroy your interior while ripping you off.
You should see what happened to my prior vehicle when the system got ripped off! It costs more to replace the destroyed interior parts and door lock/body work than it did to replace the system! They punched the driver's side door lock out, ripping the metal around the lock, and it looked like they used a crowbar to pry out the head unit.

Including my Two 12" AudioBahn subs and Boss 1200wt amp. w/ box and installation. around $350.00
I parked right next to my room, but i live in apartments, and these things normally happen at 3-4am when u are sleeping like dead. And i did not have Alarm
I heard these stories b4 and was worried of something like this to happen, but this quick, just hard luck.

Do something....
Yeah u better watch out for these crooks. Get u a Viper Alarm system with Sensitivity all the way up to %99. Don't rely on your Dome Cover. I always had mine over my system so it was never visible. But I think it is some one from my neighbors. Coz i never even opened my trunk in my apartments.

Sorry to hear that. It's happened to me numerous times so I gave up modding my cars w/ stereo equipment. I got sick of all those jealous people who don't work hard to buy those things for themselves and steal other peoples stuff.
Good luck to you.

from now on, I would rather spend money on Performance Mods then Cosmetic mods/or Stereo Mods. Its just too much to worry about.
But its ok. I am over it. Its gone now.

it's OK to buy nice stereo equipment...but for now it's probably best to hold off on it until you move to a place with your own garage and/or is safer. I take precautions wherever i go, like going back to my parents house. The neighborhood sucks in terms of vandalism, so i try not to stay past sundown.

That sucks dude.
Must've been kids though. Very young kids. No normal sized adult would be able to fit through that hole in the window.
...damn kids.
