Thanks for your quick replay. Unfortunately I had to return 04427-60141 boot kit as it wouldn't fit my CV axle. Please refer to photos I have attached. My axle is apparently used in some 2002-2004 years models. My inner joint is fully rounded and boot shape inside diameter as well. The new superseded part /boot is triangle concave shape inside and is 1 cm smaller.

I replaced the passenger side with a new OEM axle assembly but still like to find matching OEM boot kit for my 240 KM axle.

I have remanned OEM's with Toyota boots from CVJ that I installed 6 years ago and they are in perfect shape still with over 100,000 miles on them.
Was using after market, but now went with OEM from Toyota.

Thanks for help but this boot does not fit axle due to internal shape. My is just rounded inside. I found 0438-60030 but S&H plus custom charge is 100$ and is way above part price.

They've always been that tri-lobe shape on the 4th gen, 5th gen, Tacoma, and FJ. This is part of why we stopped offering reboots on anything except factory axles; even the aftermarket ones that look like factory axles seem to not fit properly with factory boot kits.

I don't know what are you talking about. My T4R is 2004 model,CV axle is genuine and my cv boots are original Toyota's. They are not tri-lobe shape. They are both rounded inside.According to VIN, this CV axle has been installed in 2002-2004 production.

Me either, my '04 has the same triangular looking inboard tulip housings as I mentioned. Nor have I seen another '03 or '04 with anything but those? All the V6 & V8 4th gens I have seen have had that style of axle and we've never stocked anything other than one style of factory boot for them.

The part number for US bound (GRN21 & UZN21) 4th gens for the CV axle boot kit appears to just pull up as: 04438-60030, if I have time tomorrow I can bug my parts department and see if they can find a different axle part number or boot kit beyond that?

I'm not too familiar with anything beyond what was sold/sent to the US, so I suppose it could be possible that they used a different axle for early production 4Runners & Hilux/Surfs?
