Exhaust help please

So looking at my engine today, manifolds are getting bad and so is my mpg. Kinda of on a budget and I need sometime to save up whatever I need too. Especially Xmas coming, I mainly use the 4runner for towing a trailer for the 4wheelers so don’t need the fanciest exhaust. Just wanted to know my quality options that are available, seen DT headers are date out as far as january. Any help is greatly appreciated. I wanna change the motor mounts at the same time so figure that would help with the header bolts. lol

If you want to do the job once and never have to do it again, I'd recommend the DT headers, they'll help with power some too while towing.

The problem with going OEM, is they'll just crack again. Some aftermarket options seem to have okay longevity too, so that's something to consider.

My opinion, if you're gonna spend the time and money to do the manifolds, you might as well do it with something that will last a long time while also getting you some performance gains. Lots of threads on here where this is dicussed throughly.

Might help if you let us know what motor you have.
I have JBA shorties. Most common outside of OEM are either JBA or DT. Otherwise it's some overseas junk that gets sold by chain stores.

have the 4.7 v8 4x4 model.
i saw the jba as an option, just didnt know quality?
right now just trying to figure out my cheaper options, does anything bolt up directly or welding is involved regardless??

in the process of debating to keep the truck but in the mean time trying to fix what i can. truck came from jersey and has alot of rust under, so havent decideed yet if im fixing or getting rid of. i've been using it to tow my 4 wheelers in a 6x12 enclosed.
