Looking for White/red switchable LED'S

I'm looking to add light to the lift gate but I'm finding it hard to come by smaller led's that can be switched from white to red. All i see are marine use dome lights (too big) and Baja designs which is $75 for one. The Oznium 11mm's come in Amber/red or White/amber.

Pretty annoying.

I got some cheap LED's amber/white off of amazon and drilled them into my back lift gate. I have them wired to a switch near the back.

Work with me here, what about self-adhesive 12V LED Strip? You could have two sets just run next to each other. Drill a small hole through the tail-gate plastic and pic up a live feed from there.

Or possibly the colour changing stuff - it has a mains voltage driver unit, but it must control the colours by altering voltages, I assume RBG like a normal screen, so you could manually switch between them if you figured it out

I used the warm-white stuff in my last vehicle.
