Cupholder inserts
Hey all,
I have seen a cupholder insert around the forum that is 3d printed by a member, and got pretty good reviews. I'm not sure if he's still selling them, but I found an alternative on Etsy that looks pretty good, and also has a little phone slot between the two cupholders. I ordered it today, and will provide some feedback here once I get it installed.

Please do share your thoughts on it. Interested in replacing the factory setup at $22 but not at $50+, which is what the 3D printed one goes for IIRC.

Update..
I'm really happy with the cupholder insert. I should note that it doesn't click or lock in place, it just has slots that slide down over the existing tabs in the cupholder. But I haven't had any issues with it coming out or letting beverages tilt and spill. I recommend it. And if you wanted it a bit more snug, you could make it a tighter fit with electrical tape or even a piece of paper wedged. The two holes are different sizes, one fits a can or bottle with a koozie on it and the other would fit most water bottles, like yeti and whatnot. It seems these are being made by an enterprising young gentleman on ebay, and he included a note of appreciation for the purchase. Nice touch.

Just want to piggy back, can confirm it works well, far more useful than OEM. It’s a solid piece. I put a small strip of mounting tape on it, it aint coming out unless you try.

Cupholders
Hey, appreciate for posting about my item.
Any kind of feedback is appreciated. 94% of the reviews are 5 star, but if there are any issues that someone has experienced with the item, I'd love to hear them.
If there are any kind of uncertainties that someone has, feel free to ask away.
Also, Yes, the cupholder indeed does not click in place, but is rather held by the flanges within the compartment. I have seen people adding tape or glue to it, but that is not neccesarily needed.

Ordered as well. I hope it helps the wonky OEM situation.

got one a few weeks ago and it works and looks great. big improvement over the stock one. it doesn't lock into place but hasn't popped out of place either. it has grooves to fit the existing slots but they don't go down to the cupholder floor like the oem ones do. i think the fitment is fine but could be improved upon. the cupholders themselves are great, i like the two slightly different sizes, and the little phone holder is a nice touch.

This arrived today. I like it in the garage and look forward to seeing how it stacks up to the stock setup in real-world use. Fit is nice and the phone slot is very handy since I often have my work and personal phones. Note that it only fits one way, with the larger opening on the passenger side.
In case anyone is curious, coasters are from Etsy and my daughter made the shifter sticker when she had a custom decal business.

Ordered. I was thinking just the other day on a trail ride how much I hate the factory cup holder.

I too just ordered this cup holder format...I had TIN's last version and it was great but unfortunately fell apart...this format seems to be more simple...for me, simple functionality is best! Happy New Year T4r clan!!

I’d seen TiN’s cup holder insert it just wasn’t a $50.00 important part. $21.00 important, sure. I like that this has the slot for wallet/phone.
