Which wheel specs would be better?

Hi all,

Start my lift next week and need to get my wheels + tires on order. Ill be putting a 2.5-1.5 lift and running 265/70/17 wildpeaks (gas mileage, cost and daily driver is the reason for 265)

Ive been looking at some Method MR316 wheels and went to order them from Discount tire. Before ordering, the sales rep made me question the sizing and I wanted some other input.
I currently run Tacoma TRD OF 16" wheels which have an offset of +25 and are 7 inches wide. I was going to order 17" Methods in 8.5 width and 0 offset. He suggested I order the +25 offset Methods which have an 8 inch width.

It sounds like that would only yield a 1/2 inch more wheel sticking out, where the 0 offset and 8.5 width would give me 1 3/4 more wheel pushed out. Is my math correct on that? Does that sound like an acceptable amount?
My current street tires on the TRD wheels sit very far into the fenders and 1/2 + some all terrains doesn't seem like it would come out far enough. Plus the 265's shouldn't be too wide either.

Let me know what you would do

Go with 0 offset. To go from +25 to 0 gives your wheel a 1" push outward.

And pleaaaasseeee post pics of the 316's when you get them. I heavily debated this wheel but couldn't find one pic on a 4th gen.

Thanks for the input and yes, that's also why I made this post. I only see 5th gens running the wheels and it seems like they all have the 0 offset model.

Ill post pics when I pull the trigger.
