Hatch gas struts

Does anyone know of any generic or other Toyota model replacements for the hatch gas struts? Mine are getting a bit weak and it looks like the Landcruiser Prado has a side hinged rear door

Hood doesn't stay up

Hood/Liftgate supports

Look through these threads for the liftgate links. I used Strong Arm struts from Lift Supports | Gas Struts & Springs | Lift Supports Depot for my hood and they work great.

I just bought Cold Spec OEM struts at $40 a piece. Replacing my aftermarket struts which I only put in a few years ago.

I'd recommend sticking with OEM.

Thanks for replying but OEM isn't an option unfortunately, it is an import that was never sold here officially. Unless I can find a domestic Toyota equivalent part.

1000 % stick with oem. I used strong arm at first and the head of one sheared off and shot into the top of my hatch and dented the panel and cracked the paint
