Drivers side blend door

Pretty sure I have a bad one. Very cold air on the drivers side when the heat is on. Passenger side works as it should.

Beyond the bad news that it is in the heater box, it seems to be out of stock everywhere.

Can a shop with a more advanced scan tool verify that it is bad.

What else should I do if I need to tear everything that far down? Go ahead with a new heater core etc?

If you have to remove the dash to get to and inside the HVAC housing, I would not only replace the heater core but also the AC evaporator, both are in the same housing, and the evaporator is known to leak and causing the AC too not cool properly on many older 4th Gens, it would save you having to remove the dash later.
