Since you asked... Return the 5100's and buy Dobinsons instead.

Depends on what youre looking for. With the bilsteins at the 2.5 notch youre going to get a stiffer ride and less travel of the suspension than getting the bilsteins at no lift and using the spring purely for the lift. If its all highway its less of an issue than with off roading

Id also be careful about "leveling" the vehicle. If you put any weight in the rear end, it will sag and youll be high in the front. I prefer to keep a slight rake of at least an inch

Agree with previous poster. It's likely a better scenario if you are getting new coil springs anyway to use the coils to lift and not the 5100s.

I’m on my second set of 5100s since 2015 when I installed my lift. I had them at 0”(bottom groove) for a few years with Toytec coils and top hats. I set them at 1.75” when I installed my JBA upper control arms last year. I replaced them this year after the right side spewed all of its oil out and the shaft separated from the valve inside. I was in need of a quick fix and didn’t have the budget at that moment but if I had it to do over again I’d have gone with Dobinson’s IMS. I also had to do rear shocks at the same time because my Toytec Boss shocks started leaking and had a bad clunk from the rear left shock. If you don’t plan on doing any serious 4-wheeling and don’t care that it rides like crap then the Bilstein will do. Consider upper control arms, diff drop and don’t forget an alignment.
