Brake Booster repair kit

Hey everyone,
So my abs/ brake light came on along with the constant beep sound… I’ve determined with the key in the on position, the pump doesn’t come on (when pressing the brakes). After banging on the pump a few times it does try and come on but subsequently goes off. Long story short, I think the pump is crapped out.
So with all that, has anyone tried the repair kits sold on eBay? It’s only $159 and it seems like it’s an easy to moderate job. They do have reman pump/accumulator together for about $450 but if that’s not necessary, would like to avoid that.
Anyways, any input into this is much appreciated and helpful! I’ve looked up past threads but nothing seems to mention the repairing of it, unless I missed it..

Not sure I've heard of the repair kit you're referring too, please post a link for more/better input!

That being said, I disagree on the price you stated, it is indeed listed for $159....but if you include the $39 shipping that comes to $198, the cost of the shipping is understandable since it ships from the United Kingdom, but that may also cause some possible delays due to customs, etc.

You’re right, I was under the impression it was free shipping… I guess I’m going to buy an already refurbished motor just for a straight swap. I could do the repair I believe but I’m not sure how long it would take to do proper clean and replace and I need vehicle soon.
