Oil Dipstick Stuck and going to change the tube

Hi All,

06 Sport 4Runner with 105k and recently took it in for an oil change and neither the mechanic or myself could get the dipstick off. Decided to swap it out so just got back from the dealer with a new tube, stick, and O-ring. Any tips on the best way to do this before I give it a try? I see one bolt that’s hard to get at, and not sure if I just pull up on it after getting it off and applying some oil to the new ring before attempting to push the new one back in. Anyone done this on the 4th gen that can help me with some pointers please? Thanks

Are you pulling it straight out? Maybe try twisting/turning to break it loose?

Not sure how it could get stuck in there. Does it look like there's glue or something?
