ARB Skid Plates DONE!
I wanted to finish this before FJ Summit. I am glad I did, they went on pretty quick and I was very happy to see they fit perfect with a Rocktek bumper.
I had to spread the 4th skid (the one on the t-case) to make it fit, but all and all this was a well spent $427.
I want to see if I can find a way to bolt it in a few more locations, as we all know the factory skid plate mounting holes tend to fail.

They look great! I didn't even know that ARB had skid plates! I love finding all of these new options! Do they feel pretty "substantial"? How thick are they?
Thanks for sharing!

Thank you.
The skids are very thick, about 1/8 inch steel. I would not have spent the cash if they did not add some protection above the skids/drip pans.

I'd be worried about those two bolts hanging low. Looks like a rock magnet to me. Could make it difficult to remove if you need to...

looks like they used allan heads instead of hex heads so worst case he would just take a hack saw and turn them into phillips or flat heads for removal lol.

I got them from Vandergriff Toyota. I use to work for them, and they called me when they got the first set in.
Talk to Phil, on this forum he is strap22, but I don't know how often he check in on here. I know for a fact he will take care of you.

These Skids are very nice. When the first set came in I called Nathan and told him I would let him know how they fit and he said he was stopping by later and wanted to see them before I installed them. Once he saw how well they were made he told me to order him two sets. I told him he could buy the first set and test fit them if he wanted to. Well aside from a few tweeks, they fit right on. Now I am waiting on the next order to arrive so I can get mine.
If anyone is interested in a set, let me know. I have 4 sets inbound and can get some more if needed.

Can you post a side shot to show how far back they extend? Also, do they have a cross memeber to support the rear of the T-Case skid?
