Very honest company and they have a shop in Edmonton as well to get it pass oop

2005 Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-X Build




It's been over a year since I posted about this build, this is what the vehicle looks like, I put about 16,000 kms since Jan 2022 currently has 183,*** kms as of April 4th 2023. I will give details of what's been done and plans for 2023. Keep in mind that this vehicle is an import with the 2.7L 2TR-FE engine so most engine parts like the AISIN FCT085 Fan Clutch for a example will only work for the 05+ Tacoma 2.7L.

What's been done:

Removed Mudflaps
Removed Side Steps
03-05 4Runner Headlights (FB Marketplace)
06-09 4Runner Taillights (JunkYard)
03-09 4Runner OEM Roof rails With Roof Racks (JunkYard)
03-09 4Runner 3rd Brake Light Replacement (Dorman 923-057)
2020 Toyota 4runner Wheels & Tires 40,000 kms (FB Marketplace)
05 4Runner CURT Trailer Hitch (UHaul)

Plans for this build:

Bilstein 5100 front and rear (RockAuto)
Moog 81090 Front Coil Spring (Amazon Canada)
BILSTEIN 36281824 Rear Coil Spring (RockAuto)
CARDONE 605235 Axle (RockAuto)
05 Tacoma 2.7L AISIN FCT085 Fan Clutch (RockAuto)
KYB SM5640 Strut Mount (Amazon Canada)
MZS Differential Drop Kit (Amazon Canada)

i think you can try the moog fj cruiser 4wd coil for the front, and keep the bilstein b12 coils in the rear, i think i suggested this on facebook post someone asked. but that is my spring setup , moogs fj 4wd coils for the rear were a little too soft.
