Xreas delete with 3rd Gen Tacoma Suspension

Wanting to get rid of xreas so I Picked up some front and rear shocks/struts off a 2017 TRD tacoma last night. I’ve purchased the energy suspension 9.8108g bushings to press into the lower rear shock eyes, but I have no idea if I will end up level or nose up. Anyone done this? We have a 2009 V6 sport 4wd. Am I missing anything here with a rear coil? Thanks!

Yes, I have done exactly this. Mine ended up fairly level with it being about 1/4" higher in the rear. It's hard to tell what you may end up as due to if your rear springs are sagging or not.

I would return those bushings and get rear shocks valved properly for the rear weight of the 4runner as the Tacoma shock may not handle it as well. Just my opinion of course.

The "XREAS delete..." post linked in my sig should be helpful and feel free to PM me with any specific questions. Highly recommend replacing your rear springs as well. Springs aren't expensive and can make all the difference in both ride and stance.

Awesome

Thank you, looks great! I’ll keep an eye out on some FJ springs. This exactly the look I’m going for.
