Anyone have this aftermarket KEY-OVERRIDE-SL2?

I was changing out my radio over the weekend and came across this KEY-OVERRIDE-SL2 box, along with a momentary switch. I got the car used and it came with standard Toyota keyfob plus aftermarket. On the aftermarket it has an A in place of the rear window button and an B button in place of the panic button on the back. I tried all sorts of button pushes and never could figure out if it had remote start. All I could get the aftermarket one to do was lock the doors with the truck running.

After playing around with swapping the radio the truck wouldn't start. I had it on a battery charger and voltage was fine on the battery. It would click click click like the battery was dead. I left it over night and then it started fine the next day. I finished it up this weekend same same thing. Would click click click. That's when I came across these two aftermarket things. I hit the A on the aftermarket fob and it tried to the start the car several times. But it did the same thing as last weekend, just click click click like the battery was dead.

I had it on the trickle charger, buttoned everything, tried to start it normally and it was fine then. Turn it off, push the A on the aftermarket and nothing happens again. Doesn't try to turn over or anything

I looked up the module but there's not much information about it on their website. It does state it has immobilizer feature which I am assuming is what was going on with the clicking and no start. It must have remote start because it tried to start several times, but that was the only time I have ever seen it try to do that.

And then there's the momentary switch. It's accessible by pulling off the fuse panel cover. My buddy thinks it's for valet mode for an aftermarket alarm system. Does anyone have this thing or have an idea how it works? There is an alarm sticker (local company) on the car. I called them up, but they wanted me to bring the car in so they could look at it. That's a last resort since they are about an hour away from me. Was hoping someone here could save me the drive time.

Follow the wires from the key override and you should find the remote start or alarm brain, then you will be able to research that module.

That makes more sense. I didn't understand how this module did the remote start, but I guess it's just a key bypass. I saw some grounding by the radio when I had the plastics off so maybe it's behind the glove box.
