Questions after installing lift
Hey Guys, I just installed my new Ironman 3/2 lift kit and JBA upper control arms. Everything went great and there's no problems but I have a couple of questions. Does anyone with a 3" lift know offhand what their measurement is at the front end from wheel center to bottom of fender? Mine went from 22" to 25 then settled in at about 24". But, I was not going from stock. I had the Daystar 2.5/1.5 spacer lift on there prior to switching to the Ironman. From the looks of it I think I got more than 3" above stock. I'd like to compare that with what others have gotten. Which leads me to my 2nd question. With all that in mind, do I need to do a diff drop or sway bar relocate, and/or do anything with brake lines, especially on the rear? Before this lift, (with the Daystar) my axles were running almost completely horizontal from diff to wheel. Now they have a moderate slant to them. Nothing drastic but I worry about the angle when they're extended. Just wanted advice from people who are more knowledgeable about this. Thanks in advance.

I also went from a Daystar lift to an actual suspension lift. My 16 year old OEM springs must have sagged a lot, because I also got more lift than I expected. I don’t have the measurements handy, but I was a full 3” higher than stock, and probably 4” higher than the sagging front stock height. Similarly, my 2” rear lift is probably 3” higher than the sagging rear stock height.
I’m running a diff drop, the front sway bar relocate and I’m running extended brake lines all around. I also installed 3rd(?) gen taller rear sway bar links and new UCAs.

Thank for the response. I think I will probably go ahead with at least some of these too. The only one I really hate to do is the brake lines. Have to get into bleeding and stuff. But I'll probably do it anyway. Just wanted to see what others have to say about it.

I also bought speed bleeders, making bleeding the brakes a one-man job. After having speed bleeders on my motorcycles, I can’t deal with the old fashioned bleeders anymore. ~$30 shipped on Amazon for all 4.

I'm looking to install the Foam Cell Ironman stage 2 lift kit that includes the upper control arms on my 2019 Off Road. I haven't done anything else besides cosmetics, it's stock. Do I need to do anything else to it for the lift to work out well?
