Will these 2022 Tundra wheels work?

Looking to replace the stock rims that are on my 06 Limited.

Currently have the stock 18in rims, but the previous owner did a bad job of painting them black
Toyota 4Runner 2006 - Wheel & Tire Sizes, PCD, Offset and Rims specs - Wheel-Size.com

Looking here they appear to have a positive offset of 6mm is that correct? and a width of 7.5

I am currently running 265 60r18 Toyo open country AtIII tires

I would like to purchase a set of "2022 18" Toyota Tundra SR5 OEM Factory stock wheels" per the listing

But according to this website
Toyota Tundra 2022 - Wheel & Tire Sizes, PCD, Offset and Rims specs - Wheel-Size.com

The positive offset is 60mm.

Which means the wheels will be a helluva lot closer inside and likely to rub.

Want a second opinion before I f*ck and purchase these. Would I need some spacers to make these work?

Also, looks like I would need to increase the bore size.

Only reason I am looking at doing this as I don't like the look of the black rims with the silver body paint and I want silver/grey rims.

The tundra rims are listed for $650

The other option would be to buy some aftermarket rims for around $1000...

Thanks in advance

New Tundras are 5 lug like the Toyota 100 series Landcruiser and will not fit your 6 lug truck.

older Tundras ie 2003 ish were 15" and too small for base model SR5 16" wheels.

The sr5 apparently has a 6x139.7. Picture confirms it is 6 bolt.

Apparently different trim options have different bolt patterns.... not sure why toyota would do that.

The 18" that came on the 06 Limited are 7.5" wide and 25mm offset.
I have an 07 Limited and am thinking of 17" rims when time comes to change them. They are very corroded.
60mm offset seems like a big change pushing inwards.

They didn't. All 2022 Tundras have 5 lugs.

All the 2022 Tundra wheels are 6 lug. I have a pair of 2022 wheels I was going to try and run on my 2005 Tundra which has the same bolt pattern as our 4Runners.

The problem is the offset, you will need wheel spacers to clear the spindle.
You will also need wheel spacers that adapt from m12 to m14 threads as the 4runner conical lug nuts wallow around in the bore. Newer Tundra's must use m14 studs.

Not true… you can check Toyotas website to verify this or any website with 2022 tundra reviews.

Or the tundra forums for that matter…GEN 3 (2022+) Wheels and Tires Photo thread | Toyota Tundra Forum

Got it. Thanks for the info. Didn’t realize the difference in the stud size. I figured bore difference would be easy to change, but alternate studs would be a pain

I'm sorry, I stand corrected. I see they went back to 6 bolt, looks like for all models...and dropped the v8?
