Tacoma Wheel Fitment on 4th Gen

Had to give up on the other Tacoma sport wheels I like because they don’t fit 4th Gen Sport Edition trucks with the larger rotors. Is anyone with a Sport running these later model Taco wheels by chance? Going through the “Will they fit?“ thing again with these. TIA.

I am running Tacoma wheels on my ‘07 SR5 with a 1.25” spacer and they fit fine. I had a .75” spacer at first and they fit fine with those too. Lots of people will hate on spacers, however. They would just tell you to get new rims.

The sport brakes require 17" wheels.

The original owner of my SR5 has 17" wheels installed from the factory but without the brake kit. I am now running 16" Tacoma Baja wheels with 1.25" spacers. They fit fine without the spacers but the spacers give it a perfect amount of poke from the fenders.

In hindsight, I probably would've looked for a pair of 17" wheels. One for the larger brake upgrade, but two because there are so many better tire options available for the 17" wheels. Especially if you want to run pizza cutters.

I think those are sharp looking wheels. I’d run those on my Runner all day long. I have a Limited though so can’t help you.
