Rear view mirror fell off

Hello everyone, my rear view mirror fell off of the windshield & would like to remount it.
I have used the specific products for this procedure on other vehicles but am concerned about the “Black” area where the mirror mounts. It looks like it might be part of the antenna & didn’t want to damage it when removing old adhesive. Should I be concerned & what is the proper technique for prepping the surface prior to re-gluing the metal tab?
Thanks so much,
Tom

The antennas are in the side glass above the rear tires. I think the dark area is mainly to limit sun glare. I'd go to a store and get the proper glue and call it a day. Usually you can see the old spot it was in, mark it somehow before you clean it so you can get it in the same spot.
