Seat belt light works opposite of what it should

I just got my 2005 4runner back from the shop for a new battery, and some other stuff and now my seat belt light is off when my seat belt is off and the light blinks when I am wearing it. I have found similar threads but none with any resolution. Any ideas? I wear my seat religiously, so is there any way to turn the light completely off?

All they did was a new battery? Maybe your seat belt buckle switch is acting up?

They did a couple things, battery, 02 sensor, rear brakes. I'm not sure why it started all the sudden. I might disconnect the battery, but was hoping someone has had experience with this happening.
