Oil Added With Evaporator Replacement?

For those of you who have replaced the AC Evaporator, did you add any compressor oil while doing the job? If so, how much?

usually as a rule of thumb, when replacing any ac component excluding hoses, 1 ounce should be added if im not mistaken. Im sure there is a chart or spec somewhere but you will be safe with 1 once.

Thanks for the response. Based on general practices, I was planning on adding 1.5oz as I am replacing the desiccant bag as well. I have been through the FSM and could not find any spec other than total oil charge should be 4.5oz. Evap replacement procedure does not specify any quantity and was surprised.

I definitely added oil when I swapped mine, but just eyeballed it due to the lack of documentation. Likely in the 3-5oz range.
