AC hard line splice

Well, I thought I had my AC lines all good with my new bumper, but looks like it vibrated through this morning somewhere in the San Juan mountains caught it before my AC got low enough to blow warm, but I've still got a hole in an AC line.

Has anyone successfully used a splice kit on a 4th gen? Would be very convenient to just splice the line and refill the system... Or do I need to replace all the hard lines? Or just bend over for the mechanic lol?
