Dash Light Problems

*Before I get the "search before you ask!" I promise I have been searching, I can't find the solution in any though*
First post here, but I've been chasing a silly problem on my 2003 Limited. Recently the gauge lights stopped working and I'm confused. I've checked any fuse even remotely related to dash lights, non are blown or close to blowing, replaced them anyways.

The needles light up, the warning lights turn on when ign. on, the gauges all work, the radio and climate control screen lights work, but the actual gauge backlighting and the climate button lighting does not turn on.
The dimmer does change the brightness of the needles and other lights that work, the headlights and taillights all turn on with the headlight switch, but I'm at a loss!

It hasn't rained here in some time, I haven't done any off-roading lately, it was parked for 2 days in covered parking, battery is fully charged and at 12.4 V running. Any help is appreciated!

***EDIT*** key fob also works to unlock and lock. Can not find any other function not working at the moment.

12.4 while the engine is running is well under the normal alternator voltage of 13.2 - 14.2

I doubt that has anything to do with your lights problem, but your charging system needs repairs.

It is probably rare to have so many go out at, let alone together but don't these things fail? The gauges are a LED on a board, so a pin or connector, even a wire could have given, or the LED itself correct?

Sorry I worded that horrendously! Battery is at 12.4 with engine off, system comes out at 14 running. Left it parked at the shop over the weekend, and now all the lights work and I'm convinced I dreamt the whole thing. Thank you for catching my slip up!
