OEM JBL stereo Volume level?

Just wondering for anyone who still has or had the JBL stereo system and remembers, what was the most common volume level you had it set to, that wasn't too loud but it loud enough to hear well?

On mine I have to set it to around 30 to 35 to hear it well and up to the lower 40s if I have any window/s opened, and it's not uncomfortably loud at these levels.

Just wondering if this is normal or my stereo is not putting out the volume as it should.

In my GMC work van I almost never go above 25 to 28 to hear it well even with the windows opened

I commonly have it at 30-35 if I'm at highway speeds, sub-45mph I can sometimes get away with anywhere from 20-30.

Sounds about right and I'll add if I'm listening to talk radio I need to keep the windows closed or I won't hear it without it being annoyingly loud. Maybe speaker placement compared to wind noise is not as good as the work van. It does seem better in my wife's mini van compared to the t4r. Glad my A/C works well still.

It's fine with just the sunroof open though.

24 under most conditions, window down. 30 at highway speeds, window down. Input is usually my iPhone via Bluetooth adapter, plugged into the Aux port inside the center console.
