Rear leveling after 5100's cranked 3" up front
My rig was level but now she's doing the carolina squat. What spacer do I get for the rear to level it out, 1.5" daystar?

you'll probably be better off dropping down the front a little.
To get "level", usually lifting the front about 1" higher than the rear will do the trick. However, when the truck is "leveled", any load in the back is going to make it squat

The tires rub if its any lower up front and I like the way it sits now, it rarely ever has a load in it anyway. I know you're supposed to add spacers to the rear after the front is up all the way with the 5100's so wondering what other people used so I can order them.

If it rubs when its lower, then its going to rub on bumps. Figure out where its rubbing, probably the wheel well liners, and you can use a heat gun to deform them so it won't rub. You can also stretch them in the front and redrill holes in the liners to make some more room

For you spacer height, use see previous message. a 1.5 spacer will probably be fine. depending on how you're loaded up, it could be level, raked, or sagged. A lot of stuff is case by case based on what gear you have. Like a 3/16" steel skid plate is going to bring down the front a hair or having an oversized spare in the trunk could bring down the rear, etc

What shocks and springs do you have on the rear? If you’re still on your original springs, the rear probably isn’t as high as it should be.
Are you running taller tires, too? They will rub, especially if your stock suspension is tired. I did minor trimming inside the front fender wells to eliminate any rubbing in daily driving.
My first rear lift a few years ago was with Daystar 1.5” spacers, but when I installed 5100s and Toytec (Eibach) 2” lift springs, I got closer to 3” because my stock springs were so worn.
If you’re still on your stock rear suspension, I would recommend new shocks/springs instead of the Daystar spacers.
I have a 3” lift in the front and a 2” lift in the rear, and I’m very happy with the stance. You can see it in my signature line photo - 3”/2” lift, 1” body lift and 33.1” tires. (Stock tires are only 30.6”)

^ You're probably right, it has new Bilstein 5100's all around including new springs in the front. The springs in the rear are stock. I would hate to put new springs in the rear just for it to end up the same after they set in/sagged though. The fronts did that, I only went with 1" (one click on 5100's) and it was fine, until it sagged back to stock height after a couple months. Then had to have them cranked up and the rig re-aligned again. PITA

I think he meant you should go with aftermarket springs designed to give you the additional lift. I went with Ironman all around. 3" front and 2" rear and it sits nearly perfect now. You probably want some good 2" rear springs.

I guess I should have mentioned that it had air springs in the back and one of them must have popped because the rear had gotten lower and the ride was horrendous and bumpy. I took a peek under and also noticed the tail pipe was broken off at the muffler.
Ordered up the Monroe 90022C coil spring conversion "kit" (consists of 2 springs and an instruction sheet ) and also had them replace the rotted stock muffler with a Magnaflow.
Level ride height is back and OMG it rides nice, nicer than ever, shockingly good. I think those air springs have been having issues since day one.
Exhaust is also quiet but makes some rumble when into the throttle

May I ask if you ever got new springs for the rear and if so, what kind? I'm having the same issue. I got 5100s all around and new springs in front. With the front 5100s at the lowest setting, I've still got a bit of "squat" in the back and I'd like to get that forward rake back. My 05 is on the original rear springs so I'm not sure how much they've sagged. Afraid to go w/ a 3" ICON spring lift and end up too high, but don't want to get the 2" lift spring and it not look any better.
