Fog lights worked a few months and now nothing

I added fog lights about three years ago and they worked fine for about three or four months then quit working. Today I replaced the fog light relay in the engine bay's fuse box and also confirmed that the 15A mini fuse in that same box is good. The fog lights will not turn on regardless of low or high beams on, and I made certain that the switch on the turn signal stalk is on.
has anyone else had a similar situation? Someone posted a while back that they found some sort of "secret switch" and that got them working.
I really need these lights to work!
Thanks for any help you can provide!

A simple test light is your friend here. First, see if you have power at the bulbs. If not, trace back through the circuit to see where you do and don't. If you have power at the bulbs, check the bulbs for continuity. And don't forget to check your grounds.

Don't just throw parts at what could be a relatively simple problem.
