5th gen steering rack

Anyone know if the 5th gen rack is compatible with a 4th gen?

just looking at where the mount points are on the 5th gen rack, no, it does not fit.

is your current one bad? What's the reason to look into the 5th gen rack?

Any experience installing a 5th gen rack into a 4th gen?

Bushings are gone on mine. New 5th gen popped up on marketplace. Figured it wouldn't when cross referencing parts numbers but I thought I'd ask.

What about the 2010-2014 FJ Cruiser Steering rack, i've heard the rack mounts are a little bit wider, but you can drill out the holes to make it fit.

What did you end up doing here? Looking at the 5th gen rack as an option.
