v6 Headers people and exhaust help

trying to debate going the header route since i have to replace my manifolds but wondering what you guys did as far as the cats??? did you purchase aftermarket cats, which ones???

can i see a picture of your setups.

also our exhaust is split up into 3 sections correct??
manifolds, y pipe, and than the rest is considered the catback is that correct??

is urd the only y-pipe option???

Pretty sure AFE, Doug Thorley, URD, and maybe Gibson all sell Y pipes for the 4R.

URD was the only one i found that showed for sure fit the 4runner, but at $500 that shit hurts, the rest was having trouble finding solid info on, as everything i read people were trying tacoma/FJ stuff to see if it works.

have been looking up parts, and came up with.
Davico Manifold (rockauto) $500
URD Y Pipe $585
Gibson Exhaust $500+ depending which and from where

Was considering JBA headers but i think would be too much of a PITA to find a good exhaust shop to do quality work in welding new cats to headers. on top of the cost of buying the headers and separate cats would add like $400+ on top of the cost of the headers.

URD seems to be the only one producing Y-pipes so really have no choice there, was thinking of buying the Y-pipe up see if it clears the p420,p430 i'm getting, exhaust is a little rusty but nothing major, hense the gibson replacement in the future.

trying to resolve this issue as i do have a brand new engine in this badboy and would like to keep anything from harming it.

I went with the JBA shorties. Install with new cats, a custom built Y-pipe and rear cat delete was just north of 1K. Any good shop will be able to build you a Y-pipe cheaper than buying aftermarket. It will definitely clear your CEL if its just P0420 & 430.. I went back a year later and had them put in a Borla muffler with resonator delete and tip re-routed to the side. Sounds great.

Didn't ask for specifics. Just went with whatever the shop had recommended.
Some High-flow option with a decent reputation
