With you having checked so many of the other ancillary items, I would make sure all ground connections are good. You could take a wire brush and go over connections to ensure no oxidation issues are causing a problem.
Just a thought, I know that a grounding issue can present itself in different ways. But it costs nothing to wire brush a few connections and reinstall
Remove the ground. Ensure a metal on metal connection and the absence of corrosion, and then reinstall
