Help, need confirm on part # for cupholder insert

So someone decided to steal my cup holder insert. Since then I've had numerous coffee spills so I decided I'm going to pony up and replace it. I'm pretty sure the part number is 55604-35050 but not entirely certain, can someone confirm it so I don't order the wrong part? Thanks in advance.

It looks like it depends on the year of your 4Runner (sort of). If you look at the diagram here you can see that the index code is 55604A.

There are two part numbers for that index code.
5560435050 Console - Center console - Cup holder - 2003 - 2005
5560435070 Console - Center console - Cup holder - 2006 - 2009

If you look at the fine print in specs the for the number you quoted it should fit all 4th gens but I they must have changed the design for '06+ because that one will apparently only fit the later models.

But the prices, Wow! You might just want to buy a bunch of gold and make your own.

Conicelli has it a couple of bucks cheaper than the Village Toyota link above (I love that they have the full diagrams online though) but you'll probably have to compare shipping too.

Junk yard sounds like a good option?

Hadn't thought of a junk yard. Not sure where I can find one in my area. Thanks for the quick replies.

Chech out www.car-part.com. it may be impossible to find that piece in their search option, but you could throw in a search by distance, then just do a search for your engine and then just call the number of the nearest place to you and ask them if they have it. Probably be very cheap.

Seriously, that website is awesome. Its like the junk yard database.

I agree! That's where I found my OEM LED tails from at a great price! I always check there first when searching for parts!

May Not Fit the 2007 4Runner

I ordered an aftermarket 55604-35050. I doesn't seem to fit. It seems too narrow front to back and not deep enough in the slot to sit on the bottom of the console base. It's 3 3/8" deep on the bottom and 3 13/16" deep on the top. The slot that fits over the little ribs inside the console seems too short at 1 1/8" tall. I don't know if it's just that this seller's item is wrong or if this part number is the problem.

I'm going to try and find the 55604-35070 online and order that. In the meantime I'm going to search the junkyards in the area and see if I can find the OEM part and try it. I bought my 4Runner used and it's never had this part.

Just throwing it out there… There is a seller on Etsy named CircionDesigns who 3D prints some pretty cool inserts for our trucks, different sizes etc.

For some reason the OEM ones were always gone at my local junkyards anyways!

I got one of these from Circion too. Factory cup holder was way lame.

I have that same one from Circion that I hoped to mod but it didn't work. Details are in this listing in the Free section.

Didn’t work because it’s not solid i.e. honeycomb inside?

Oh I remember now. You wanted to add the cup cage flexible thing into it.

Yep. Tried that and also some flat metal springs but couldn't get screws or epoxy to hold. Bummer.
