I'm running NAPA premium rotors with EKC 6000 series Greenstuff pads. Lots of towing and wheeling, no complaints.

Do a couple of rounds of a brake bed-in procedure: Bedding In Brake Rotors

What happens most of the time is there winds up being an uneven transfer of brake pad material to the rotors after a really hard stop when you sit still for a little while (think interstate coming to a complete stop or something) afterwards.

The repeated bed-in procedures will get the brakes hot and can help cut down on those high spots. Very rarely do rotors warp these days.

I've ran centric rotors (on the T4r as well as my other cars, held up good on the smaller, lightweight cars, T4R didnt' fair too long), tried Brembo rotors (these did pretty good too) ultimately went back to a 100% OEM rotor and pad that I am still running and so far has been my favorite.

I'm sure people have different experiences... but honestly, after trial and error, I personally have settled on the fact that it's just hard to beat OEM, at least when it comes to Toyota.

Interesting. Never heard you could re-do the bedding in procedure. I thought that was done with new rotors and pads or with existing rotors and new pads.

R1 Concepts

R1 concepts. They run 30% off. I got the normal rotors without the slots and drilled holes because those just let mud get in them.

Nothing special for mine. Living in CO and driving mountain passes a bit I have gone with Carquest platinum coated rotors and platinum pads. They usually last 3-5 years and I haven’t gotten the wobble bobble.
