What After Market Brake Rotors are people using here?
Looking for recommendations on after market break rotors people are using for their 4Runners with stock calipers.

Currently using Stop Tech rotors/slotted, with Wagner Posi Quiet pads, NAPA replacement calipers. They do ok, I'm on highway only, no off roading. Scotty Kilmer recommends stock brake rotors with Akebono pads.

I installed Powerstop Z17 pads and their Evolution Geomet coated rotors on the rear of my '05 T4R about 8 months ago. Have been running the Powerstop Z36 pads & rotors, front & rear on my Tundra for over a year. Lots of heavy towing miles on the Tundra. Very happy.

Scotty got this one right, but he's wrong on soooo many other things. DO NOT rely on him for anything auto-related. Sure, watch him for the entertainment value, but take everything he says with a massive grain of salt.

Very happy with the PowerStop Z36 kit for several years and lots of miles both on and off the pavement. Going OEM this time b/c I got all the parts during Cobb County Toyota's online parts store's Black Friday sale for about the same cost as the PowerStop kit.

I am using OEM rotors but have started to torque my own wheels and also make sure the tire shop goes no more than 80 Ft/lbs. That seems to have prevented any rotor warp even with my mountain driving. I suspect the lug over-torquing was causing my rotors to warp and then I was getting pulsing under hard braking.
One time this tire shop really cranked them down to maybe 100+ Ft/lb. Soon after, I noticed the pulsing. It took a lot more than normal effort to remove the bolts and two were totally messed up and had to be replaced. The lug nut would not come full off, and I had to break them off. I read that over-torquing the bolts is a common cause of this rotor warp. All good this last 50K since I changed the rotors and have been careful with the torque.
The OEM rotors last me a really long time so I just use them. Are aftermarket rotors that much cheaper?

This would be a good time to upgrade the braks to the Sport calipers and larger rotors. The PO put AC Delco rotors on mine and they seem fine, I changed the pads to Akebobo all around. And rebuilt calipers

Stoptech cryogenically treated rotors (Larger Sport 4R size) w/ stoptech pads. Stainless brake lines all around and new fluid. Brakes feel great.

I'm running Centric Cryo-treated rotors with Akebono pads on mine. More than 6 years and no warping.

I'm rocking some Powerstop calipers and DBA Slotted Rotors....I only have about 10k mile them but they're much better than my OEM set that lasted a solid 80k miles. I'm hoping to get a good life out of these...
