Coastal Offroad w/ Dual Swing Out

Anyone welding up a rear Coastal Offroad bumper with dual swing outs? I have the bumper fully welded and just started on the swing outs but I have a question about the passenger side swing out hinge attachment. The front bumper is also fully welded but it is too cold in my shop for painting.

I am in the middle of wrapping mine up what was the question you had? Here are some pics, sorry for size they did not want to upload properly through the app. I reversed my positioning, the tire is on the drivers side and fuel carrier is on passenger side (did this for when parking on the street easier to walk around the fuel carrier than walking around tire carrier)

What’s the question on the rear swing out ?
I’m using their bumper but made my own swing outs (seem to get near identical to their design).

Also, word of caution on the front bumper fender gap.. if you plan on doing any sort of off road articulation with your rig your bumper is going to impact the fender pretty significantly. My gap is at least twice that size and I constantly impact bumper to fender when articulating.

Swingin'

Aemravan and Krazed,
Thanks guys. i got it figured out. I was having trouble locating the hinge on the upright. I just needed to assemble the heims and the pivot bolt and then move everything around until it looked right.

Aemravan,
On the front clearance that picture was taken with the bumper adjusted all the way up. It was to make sure I have both sides finish welded evenly. I can bring it down probably about 3/8" if I need to. Almost done.

Alright, Happy Wheelin' and "Get Out"

Two Swingin'

I weighed all the packages when they were delivered. Everything all up (minus the welds!) is 370 lbs. So approximately divide that in two and move about 40 lbs from one to the other for the dual swing outs. I also ordered LEDs for the front AND rear (included in the total) plus the single hoop in front.

More Swangin'

Ok, they are fully welded and now it's time to cut the rear plastic! Not the right tire on there. If you are going to attempt this style DIY bumper it is A LOT of welding, but maybe it just seems like it because I did both front and back. I want to add an extra hinge to the water jug hold down bracket provided in the kit so that should be the last fabrication UNLESS you want to count a fold down table behind the tire side swing out....
