SS-4RFBL - Stainless Steel Front brake lines (96+ 4Runner)

even if you read the toyteclift site about brake line
Fitment Note:

These lines are stock length. Longer front brake lines are generally not needed with our lifts (standard and extended length coilovers, coil lifts, adjustable shocks or spacers). The brake line travels securely with the spindle on a 4Runner.

No, but Iím putting the Stoptech hoses on after reviewing the alternatives and based on the people who are using them with no issues.

so their claim of them not being compatible is due to articulation difference..? Makes total sense

but ultimately they are just covering their ass based off of what Toyota supposedly said. If they referenced something like the larger piston needing an increased diameter for the fluid I could understand the thought process, but referencing articulation/travel differences is kind of funny... though I'm not expert and maybe there really is "technically", in a bone stock form, a bit more articulation/movement anticipated on the sports model, in which case I can see them taking caution.

at the end of the day, if it fits, it ships. You won't have any issues with either brand of hoses from a fitment standpoint. Can't comment on long-term quality.

Exactly my thoughts. While the Stoptech rep said Amazon's fitment verification doesn't drill down to specific trim levels, I can't imagine Stoptech or Amazon allowing these to be sold as confirmed to fit the 4th Gen Sport if there was even the most remote possibility they might have to write someone a giant check someday b/c of a related failure.
