03-05 Pods in Fogs, Ideas?

I really want to replace my fog lights with some led pod lights. It seems like its easier to do with a 06-09, but not so much a 03-05. My favorite iteration of this is sold by SolidShift concepts, but it seems like they're always out of stock and dont reply often. Would be cool if they sold the STL file and people could print the part themselves. ( 2003-2005 4Runner Fog Light LED Mounts (Pair) – Solidshift Concepts )

Has anyone else rigged something up that looks good with their stock bumper? Just trying to get some ideas/ see if anyone has made it look good. Im tempted to hollow out the stock housing and fit one in there.

EDIT:
After lots of back and forth with 3D printing and trying to make something work, I settled on stuffing a 3-inch Baja Designs Pod in the stripped housing. I was really excited to discover a 3-inch pod would fit perfectly inside the fog housing. My original plan was to stuff it in, 3D print a new bezel and secure the pod light from the hole in the back of the housing. Of course nothing ends up the way you plan, so I cut some bottom out and actually have the light mounted to the bumper itself. Overall, its not perfect, but hopefully inspires some other people. I may have purchased their last set available. I tried the both the Rigid (updated version from the SolidShift directions), and the Diode Dynamics SS3, but they were slightly too large for the opening. I ended up using Diode Dynamics SS2 in a combo beam. Looks and works well I think.

The solidshift pods come back into stock every so often, and are definitely one of the cleaner options to mount lights to the bumper like that.

I ended up selling mine, I didn't like the fit issues with the lights I purchased and inability to adjust the aim really at all.

Which is why I went with the SS2.

Can someone post how you did the wiring? I'm getting ready to use some Baja Designs Squadron Sports and have figured out mounting just not the wiring part. My plan was to run them on the factory switch on the turn signal arm, but also do the fog light mod!

Been looking for the same thing for awhile now, I can't seem to find anyone who was published how they have done it yet. Im looking at using a set of Squadron SAE lights.

Usurper, it looks like no one replied to the question before your post so you may not get an answer. What exactly is the wiring question? Why can't you use the fog light power? LED has got to be less amperage than the original lights.

Wiring

I'm looking into this to see if anyone has experience connecting those new lights to the OEM wires so I can use the OEM fog switch on the turn signal. As I said before, I want to use Baja Designs squadron lights.

"baja squadron to xxxx (fog light bulb size) adapter"

I forget the # offhand but you can buy a premade adapter fairly inexpensively by searching that phrase. At that point it'll plug straight in and work off your fog light switch. It's also far lower draw than the OEM fogs so no risk of overloading the circuit.

Plug-and-Play LED Light Adapter Harness H10/9005/9006 - Baja

These should work fine then correct? Just posting them here to confirm and for others, if anyone else finds themselves in my situation.

Cool, I wasn't sure if you were trying to do more like always on with a relay or similar. Looks like you have a good solution.
