super strong axle, accomplished my goal of not having to ever trail-replace a CV axle, but one thing that was left unconsidered is that when the axle doesnt blow out, something else does, for me it was the entire intermediate differential shaft and housing lol.
If I had to do it all over again, I would have kept my OEM axles and either stayed with some remanufactured OEM spares, or at least went with CVJ or something much cheaper.
RCV's have their time and place, and a heavily used street rig with occasional rock crawling is not it.

That's the main reason why I try to keep things simple on my T4R going overboard bulletproofing everything suspension and drivetrain wise will just move you up to breaking crap that will make it a PITA to fix on the trail, apart from justifying buying expensive crap.
I still have my oem cv axles which I've put through hell, I give them some tlc depending on how much abuse they get, cvboots have ripped on the trails filled with mud and all sorts of crap, after a little cleaning, some grease, new oem boots there good to go.
