Question Good Emblem Adhesive Remover

Removing all Emblems and most adhesive is coming off with Brake Cleaner except for the Edges of the Lettering. What works to get the little bit left off? But not damage my Paint.

this is what I use on just about anything sticky that needs to be removed from the paint:

Whizzy Wheel Car Decal and Sticker Remover with Drill Adapter Tool Kit | Adhesive Decal Remover Eraser Wheel - Eraser Wheel Decal Remover/Decal Eraser Wheel | Adhesive Remover/Sticker Remover Tool

Hair drier on hot softens the glue,
Goof-off is okay
Acetone does a great job but test on your paint first
And a plastic scraper using straight dawn soap to keep it lubricated

I was able to rub it off with some effort when I panted my emblems. Otherwise I use Goof-Off.

Most seem to use Goof-Off, just an FYI, Goof-Off is 60% to 80% Acetone, 7% to 13% Xylene and 1% to 5% each of Ethylbenzene and Methanol.

I have used WD-40 to remove some glues in the past, not sure if it will work on that adhesive or not, couldn't hurt to try it.

Sometimes you've got to let Goo-Be-Gone sit for 30 minutes then use a plastic wedge and everything comes off.

Thank you for this info. I did not realize I needed to let it soak for 30 minutes. Thank you very much.
