Aftermarket Switch installation

I've searched a bit and think I found the answers but there was no clear follow up as to how things worked out. This was the closest thread I found (Button/Switch back light wires).

Anyways, I'm wiring in a Toyota Tall switch style from CH4x4 to add in two additional lighting circuits. I've got everything downstream figured out. This is just for wiring the switch to trigger the relay. I'd like for them to dim with the rest of the lights if easily possible.

So power I'm good with. The dash light circuit is what I need clarification on. I'm trying to tap the DAC switch wiring or really the Air Lift suspension plugs would be preferable since I don't have that feature. The thread referenced above showed the DAC switch so that's what I'm most familiar with.

Red(power) - Planning to use an add-a-fuse to the box to power on with ign
Black (ground) - This is the one that needs to be spliced to the white w/ green stripe wire on the DAC plug - This should allow the switch to dim?
Yellow (dash light circuit) - Spliced to green wire from DAC plug - is this switched 12v when the interior lighting is on?

Is that correct?
The solid green wire from the plug is the backlight circuit?
Is that powered only when the interior backlighting is on or is that function controlled through the ground circuit?
Mine does not have the air lift suspension. Could I use the plug for that so I'm not cutting up a functional DAC wire?

Problem solved. I connected the wires as noted above (to DAC plug) and things are working perfectly. Switch is matched to interior lights, including dimming.
