Bolt on Cat-Back exhaust?

Who makes a Bolt-on Cat-Back exhaust?

Something I can easily line up with the factory parts?
No welding?

Flowmaster?
Magnaflow?
Gibson?
etc???

Walker. Inexpensive, installs in less than a hour, including removing old system and is lighter and just slightly louder than stock. Bolts right up. It may not last forever, but replacing it will be easy and cost effective again.

for cat-back, you can find the trd if they have it still, borla and toyota version is hard to find. magnaflow still makes 2 kinds of cat-back system i think. gibson is a hit or misss, i never used one.

you might be able to fit 5th gen exhaust / cat-back system i think, i only see the magnaflow did this so i cant really confirm.

Carven is making a catback… it’s short, it’ll dump in front of the rear axle so it’s a high clearance type. I saw it when looking at the one for our Tundra… ordered it (5-8 week lead time) but for <$400, a little better sound and clearance for Offroad, I was sold.

if you have a v6, find a 5th gen take off. superior OE quality at a fraction of the price (i paid $50 for a new one). stay away from walker etc. cheap stuff rusts at the joints. you'll be shopping again just after the warranty expires!

Depends what you want, stock or performance. Like said earlier get 5th gen and cut down intermed pipe if you have a v8, bolt on for v6.

If you want performance magnaflow is nice. I have it on my '06 v8 and it sounds good., no problems for 3 years. Have the gibson elite on my '08 v8. Sounds better but not as well engineered. Does not fit as nice and I had to have it welded to keep its position. Plus the gibson tip is angled not straight so it looks like a blind person installed it.

If you can find a 4th gen TRD or Borla good luck. They are like hens teeth. i have a 4th gen TRD hanging in my garage made for a v6 but trimmed for the v8. It sounds exactly like the manaflow.

Thank you for the info! There is a TRD catback for the 5th gen 4runner local to me and I was thinking about picking it up for my '03 V8.

Did you need to chop the middle pipe down and get it re-welded to fit on your v8?

Yes. The middle pipe has to loose about 4-6 inches to work with the v8.
