New Calipers

Anyone make quality calipers that aren't painted red? Nothing against anyone who likes the red, I'm just looking for a less flashy OEM replacement.

Thanks!

Last brake job I installed a pair of Raybestos Element 3 new calipers, which are zinc coated (silver color). They've only been on for 1 year but are holding up well. Previously I used NAPA Eclipse rebuilds coated in black, but I was still fighting a stuck piston after 2 years in the salt belt...in this case the inboard lower piston wasn't retracting, dragging the brake pad just enough to cause a shake eventually.

This!

I'm going on 4+ years on my Element 3 calipers (Northeast) and they've been great. Prior to the Elements, I was replacing the re-mans every 2-years like clockwork.

Oem

Went with OEM, found them online for just over $315 shipped and they are 5th gen. Quite a few dealers out there with 30% off list or more if you look.

I use Centric Posi-Quiet Coated Calipers..
Not for the bling but for corrosion resistance.

I have been installing coated reman calipers from Cardone purchased at RockAuto. Silver not red and quite a bit cheaper. Just did both front calipers on an '05 4th gen and have installed a few others on various Toyota's.
