Rear lower shock mount

Does anyone know if there's an aftermarket lower rear shock mount bracket for our 4th gens that converts it to something like this? I hate the way the 4th gens are designed where the shock slides onto the shaft. Mine is somewhat damaged and not smoothed so it's a b*tch to get my shocks on and off. I'm afraid the more I remove/install my rear shocks the worse it'll get so I'm looking for a solution before it gets worse.

Call Total Chaos with the dimensions you need and see what they say.

Looks like it'll work if 4runner shocks sit 7" off the axle tube.

I wouldn't know how to get precise measurements. I don't want to buy it and come to find out it won't work.

Trail Gear has several shock mounting options.
Shock Mounts - Builder Parts

What about fixing the existing mounts and then installing a skid like the RCI one. Also eimkeith is getting ready to release a reinforcement kit for the lower shock mount through opt.offroad Maybe that would help?

Yeah, I've seen trailgear and a few others that sell similar shock mounts. It's not really specific to 4th gens so I don't want to order it. In order for any of those to work it'll have to be measured and the correct angle would need to be determined. Best way would be to have it custom fabricated or call Total Choas and see what they can do since they're very familiar with Toyotas.

As of now, to get me back up and running, I sanded the shaft the best I could, got the shock to slide back on smoothly, retap'd the threads and bought a new bolt. I currently have the icon shock protection shield. Works fine. When time permits, I will disassemble and repair the thread with new coil inserts.

These are the other shock mount skids I was thinking of.
