Gum, garage door opener, Giant Eagle fuel perks card, pen...basically anything small I don't want rattling around the cab but don't want to have to unbury deep in the center glove box.

I removed the storage bin completely and mounted my XM receiver there. Fits perfectly and the cutouts for the pocket's hinges/mounting tabs allow the cords to tuck away nicely under the center console and route to the aux jack in the armrest box.

Other than ground clearance, this is my biggest gripe about my 4R....the storage layouts are pathetic, for lack of a better term.

Both this storage and the main armrest storage sucks.

I only put paper or parking permit, sometimes Ipod in this dash storage. It is such a waste of space.

As for the armrest, I wish they made it compartmentalized somehow so it is not just one big jumbled mess in there. I know some people have been custom making orgaizers for this storage, but that is not the point.

I like the XM receiver mod, what else are people replacing these insufficient spaces with?

I am outfitting the armrest interior with a built in holster and marry a handgun to it. I like the little fold out table. has come in handy.

I put the most current gas recipt. Last fill up 9/19. I still have 1/4 tank. Have been on the mini bike to work the past few weeks. 82 mpg. Love it. I park it inside a shed at work so it's not in the sun. Pix - Had to work in Key West at the end of June and took it with me. 16hp of F U N.

Only have 47,000 miles on my 04.

I took the plastic door out and installed control heads for 2-way radios. They're like face plates that pop off your stereo except these have a cable that run to the guts of the radios that are installed under the passenger seat.
