OEM Ball Joint - LCA

Has anyone else replaced their LCA ball joint with this OEM one? It seems it's from a Hilux and just checked a local dealership's site, it's available to order. Most of the older threads related to LCA replacement stated you had to replace the entire arm.

Can anyone identify what brand ball joint

Part # 43330-09510

Also, does anyone have a link to the proper tool to remove and re-install the retaining ring? I've ran into a few that might work, but not sure if it'll work on the one installed on the ball joint. Thanks.

Just take a screw driver or small punch and hammer and knock the retaining ring off, it comes off pretty easy.

Yeah, I did that recently, the new ball joint (Moog) had a typical retaining clip with the two holes. Just wanted a tool to remove/re-install it easier. Did you do the same when re-installing one of these 'horseshoe' retaining clips?

Reinstall horse shoe ring with pliers, hook one side behind ring other side on far side of BJ and then squeeze it on.
